Making the Mac Switch
Posted Thursday, November 09, 2006 in Technology, Mac
My Quad Core 64-Bit Mac Pro Workstation arrived about three days ago. The last few days have been exausting adaptig to Mac OSX and the new development programs i'm going to be using. So far, I prefer OSX over Windows XP because of the many useful features including Widgets and Expose. Unfortunately, Firefox 2.0 wasn't working as stable as I hoped on this Mac, so I decided to experiment and try a new browser - Camino. In addition, i'm switching web editors from Microsoft Frontpage to Macromedia Dreamweaver MX. Switching editors may be the biggest challenge for me - but I'm sure it'll be no problem once I spend more time on the program. Making the Mac Switch
