Managing Time
I started off earning money doing search engine optimization for my own sites. When I was 14 years old, I thought it would be "cool" to have a network of sites. I made 15 sites with different topics and added a good amount of content and onsite SEO. I previously ran forums and knew that the primary source of traffic came from the search engines. I linked them all together, and magically one day I woke up with 100$ in my Google AdSense account. I realized that I could really do something with this - so I went on a mission to expand. I went to High School, I worked a job, and I worked hours on my own business. I developed a strong work ethic from the beginning because I had a love of money that others could not compare to.
Call me what you want, I call myself a workaholic. From the beginning, my job was optimization. I decided that I also needed to constantly optimize my time. I work at least 18 hours a day, 6 days a week. I've kept the same work ethic since I was in high school - and it paid off. I never watch TV, play video games, or watch movies - a total waste of time in my eyes. I spend all 18+ hours on the computer; building sites, managing my team, handling campaigns or networking with others. I set short term and long term goals for myself - sometimes very high goals. I work for them everyday - and if you want to get money, do the same. Hard work always pays off, and remember - sleep is the cousin of death. I watch half these advertisers wake up and go to sleep everyday, when you go to sleep - just know that I'm working here getting those extra hours in. Maybe that will motivate you to work more.
